About Redbud Roasters

Redbud Roasters is a local Mom and Pop shop in San Marcos, TX, founded in 2010 by Austin and Mary Van Zant, longtime residents of the Hill Country area. The redbud tree is one native to the area and was chosen as our name and logo to represent us as a local business.

All of our coffee beans are certified organic and fair trade, as well as 100% Arabica, the premium bean. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, they are shade grown, which means rainforests are not cut down in order to grow this coffee. They are roasted locally for the freshest bean in the area.
